[ cinematic reality ] is a visual storytelling studio founded by michael chung, a designer turned freelance photographer and videographer based in new york.
michael had worked for ideo, a world-renowned design consultancy, as a design lead and content guide in the disciplines of industrial design and visual storytelling.
utilizing his tremendous experience in design thinking and digital media production skills, michael specializes in helping companies and organizations design and craft powerful visual stories on their products, brands, processes, strategies and causes.
he also serves as an adjunct professor at the school of visual arts, teaching video storytelling in its mfa products of design program since 2012.
michael's photographic work has been widely featured on the web. he has also been selected as one of the top 100 photographers in the one life international photo competition 2010, sponsored by pdn.
